What is a BIA?

A Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a group of businesses, within a defined geographic area, that work together on local improvements and promote local economic development. The purpose of a BIA is to improve, beautify, and maintain property in the BIA; develop, improve, and maintain public parking; and promote the BIA as a business or shopping area.

Greenview Industrial

The Greenview Industrial BIA was established on November 13, 2017. Over the last 7 years Greenview has supported local business through placemaking, safety initiatives, infrastructure, community connections, and our annual festival, Tango 2 Echo!

What’s New in Greenview

In 2024 Greenview collaborated with over 25 artist from across Western Canada to bring six new murals and art projects to Greenview. These initiatives help placemake, beautify, and aid in CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) concepts.
