On Sunday, August 29th, we hosted hundreds of guests along 35th Avenue for the first annual Greenview Block Party!
The free event ran from 12pm -5pm and featured an outdoor market & beer garden, food trucks, live bands & DJ’s throughout the day, a classic car show & live graffiti jam, and a guided mural tour throughout the neighborhood!
The beer garden featured live music from local acts - Brooke Wylie, Ghost Factory, and The Torchettes played throughout the afternoon alongside DJ Craig Evans & DJ Droogaloo.
A few blocks away at Boyd’s Autobody & Glass, the Beltline Urban Mural Project (BUMP) hosted a live graffiti jam with local artists painting alongside a classic car show. Muralist CONZ was on-site to paint in the graffiti jam, and engage in a live artist talk moderated by BUMP.
At 1 pm, we hosted a guided mural tour through the community - kicking off at Citizen Brewing Co. and visiting the graffiti jam mural on the side of Barbecues Galore, and then over to Boyd’s Autobody & Glass for the BUMP event. The tour ended off with a visit to Bold Faced Goods and the new Burnt Toast Studio mural, and then back to the block party along 35th Avenue.
