On Saturday, February 19, we launched into the Chinook Blast at Citizen Brewing Co. with a family-friendly, fire-side celebration of arts, culture, and the great outdoors!

With a full-house at Citizen Brewing Co., delicious food features, and $1 off beers for all BIA members, the free-to-attend event offered something for everyone.

We partnered with local artist, David Benediktson from Coyote Works Ltd. to create a cultural-artistic installation for Calgary's 2022 Chinook Blast Festival - the outdoor celebration of all of winter's wonders. Benediktson was in attendance to host an artist talk and discuss his inspiration, the process behind the piece, and provide some context for his larger-than-life installation.

The real-sized artistic interpretation of a fish rack will remain installed on the patio at Citizen Brewing Co. taproom and is accessible for anyone to view any enjoy.
